Our idea emerged by examining the possibilities of 'personal spaces' by turning the concept into a variety of visual representations.
To represent our visual narrative, we decided to use a motion-sensing input device, Kinect. Our purpose was to be able to interactively use our design and make it a multi-user platform, as well as have the flexibility to project it on a real-time screen, enhancing the performance of our production.
Our sketches resulted in deciding to work towards manipulating the personal bubbles through merging and tearing. As people get closer, the bubbles would react to each other.
