Our idea emerged by examining the possibilities of 'personal spaces' by turning the concept into a variety of visual representations.
To represent our visual narrative, we decided to use a motion-sensing input device, Kinect. Our purpose was to be able to interactively use our design and make it a multi-user platform, as well as have the flexibility to project it on a real-time screen, enhancing the performance of our production.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Our sketches resulted in deciding to work towards manipulating the personal bubbles through merging and tearing. As people get closer, the bubbles would react to each other.
